Ledenfer CBR Kennels came about as a result of my love of Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. It started when growing up on the farm with my grandfathers “Bo” who started me on Chessie’s and getting my own first boy in 1977.  My first boy “Turhan” and girl “Neysa” spent many hours hunting in the fields of central California farm land for Pheasant and Quail.  Next I started raising a few pups and keep a few along the way and invested in a few dogs from other breeders.  For a while then I took a break from my dogs while working overseas. Once I returned home to Alaska, I started again enjoying the Chesapeake and my passion. After retiring to Florida, I have devoted my time to my dogs and BBQ'ing for friends and family.
